I have a 2006 30hp 4 stroke that is pull start. I realize that there is a quite a bit of work to do to convert it to electric start but I was wondering if anyone has done it or seen a kit to do so. The pull start is getting to be a pain.
I would imagine it's a pain! I don't think I've ever seen a 30 without e-start. I hate pull starting even the much smaller 4 strokes...
I can feel for you for sure, but no help on a kit. If you were to find a 30 at scrap pricing (blown up/not running), that might be a good buy if you are handy. Honda has a pretty solid electrical system, and you could just move whatever you need over to yours.
