My friend just bought a 30 ft Catalina. He has never had a sailboat but he used to go out with me all the time when I had a Catalina 25 a few years ago.
I have traveled from Ft. Walton Beach to Sarasota before. I really wasnt prepared for the voyage and it was a real eye opener on the 25'r. (Damn Cape San Blas) Lol
My buddy really wants to go to the keys as soon as it gets warm. I told him we can do it which is why Im wanting to find some info from anyone who has done it before.
Any suggestions/tips are greatly appreciated.
