Re: Anyone else suffering?

This morning as I drove past it, it was still smoking, but it is out now.

Had another one north of our house about 4 miles, about 100 acres, but apparently it got put out quickly as well.

The one near our neighborhood was ruled as arson. Found a gas can nearby, so probably kids screwing around causing trouble.

There was one out in Leander on Tuesday? that was arson... I really hope they tear those punks a new one when they catch them. They were 15 to 16 years old.

The one near my neighborhood got to within 200' of hitting the next neighborhood down, 200' from $500k and up houses.

We know the kids that started it live in our neighborhood. We are putting out feelers for a father to realize that one of his gas cans is missing.

This is what the youth of America is coming to. I'm 19 and got more sense in one finger than some of these jack@sses. They're gonna have to learn the hard way. I'm glad you and your neighborhood is safe though.

The sad thing is if they torch $6 million worth of houses, kill a couple of kids, and etc. they will get 2 years probation, maybe a little time in jail, and out when they turn 18.

Sentence doesn't fit the crime for "kids".

Well it finally happen at Lake Livingston. The last boat ramp that I know of was too shallow to launch today. Texas needs some rain really bad, not only because of the lakes but because of the grass fires.

I wish we had some here in TN to send you, but we're a little dry too. No where near what y'all are, though - hang in Lone Star State!!

We got 2 1/4" of rain overnight !!! That won't fix it all, but will help !!!!!!

Re: Anyone else suffering?

We got a couple of rain storms today, but nothing close to 1/4" or anything. Won't affect our lakes. Might knock down our fire-hazards a touch.

We have a 50-60% chance of rain tonight through tomorrow night. So that is a good thing. But we really need a hurricane or two.

3/4 inch in OK this past week. Not enough to make a change in the water level. I was hoping it would at least get the fish to bite, no dice there either.
