So, earlier this year, sold the SBC out of the boat to make funds for the BBC project. Admiral says, the boat could wait, need to spend a bit of $ on house issues. No problem, so we divert funds, paint the lanai, entry way, and spend a bit on college fees for the stepson. All good, tax return should help
so last month when the taxes come back, thinking going to dump a bunch of $ and get the motor off to a machine shop. Admiral says.... boat can wait, new kitchen first. Taxes and commission from her two real estate sales now going to the kitchen... custom cabinets and custom granite and those funds are now gone.
So I list all the other projects on CL to get rid of for the boat. pair of 50's vintage Mercs, the Wooster Hellion http://forums.iboats.com/forum/boat...hull-repair/592302-1970-wooster-hellion/page2. Sell the hellion, thinking, great, can now get the forged crank that I need to drop in so I can trim the block..... Now I have new lighting for the kitchen and a new sink, and I am moving electrical outlets, adding wiring....... and the dang cabinets are 4 weeks out yet.
To top it off, ran out of beer
Just venting.
