I've got a iMac 333mhz with osx and 256mb ram, 40gb drive.<br /><br />I let my brother take it to use for internet and email. I use PCs myself, but have nothing against macs

We run several Macs and Windows machines on the same network. We blew up a 350 MHz iMac G3 installing system 10. Turns out you need a firmware update to do so on some iMacs. Now we have a Blue & White G3, a G4, and a nice little eMac. We keep system nine on the G3, the rest have 10. We back them all up (and the Window boxes) with Restrospect to digital tape.<br /><br />At home I have Windows 98SE on a desktop, and Windows XP on a laptop.<br /><br />funpilot

I bought a Mac Mini to replace an old system at the house. I've been a heavy Windows user since the beginning and can honestly say that the Mac is far superior. It is simpler, faster, more secure, and almost never crashes. I'll never buy a new Windows machine again.

I figure there are about 25,000 mac users on iboats.<br />I know mac only has 4% of the market, but more of them are still running after 5-7 years. <br />And smart people come here to iboats, so the mac users end up here.
