so Im fairly new to this site and also new to boating. I recently traded my kawasaki ninja for an 18 footer bow rider with an evinrude 85 horse. It worked great for a few trips out on the lake, then started having problems.

First the power tilt trim unit stopped working, then the steering cable and keyway went, so I decided its late in the season n being a mechanic decided it would be a fun project to re-do my boat the way i wanted to.

So me n my father started stripping it and found a treasure trove of fun times 1 being the floor was a false floor meaning it was plywood laid over the original floor and carpeted. The original floor is rotted with several holes in it. Short story long its turning into a huge project which im looking forward to tackling with my dad.

My question is this, im documenting the progress with my digital camera would you guys be interested in seeing the progress/getting a progress report every once in awhile. Im thinking if ya'll see it and know what im trying to do the advice you could give me would be very usefull what does everyone think? Is this the sort of thing anyone would be interested in? Thanks ~josh

Yeah like tashasdaddy said, use a site like photobucket.com to upload them, then just put them in your mesage like this!:

imageurl2
"

make sure to put one on a line or they will go across the screen instead of down. Hope this helps.

Okay.... go to a hosting site and set up a free account (photobucket.com is what I use)

Once in photobucket upload your photos (use 640X480 resolution or they are too big for iboats)

When the photos are loaded into photo bucket use your mouse and copy the URL listed with the photo.

Once you are in iboats click on the little square icon just above the reply box (it looks like there is a mountain in it) and that will open a pop-up where you paste the URL from photobucket. That url will appear like this is where your URL will appear[img]

That's about it.

Bob, you have more clout around here than I do, and your pic post is very good but brief... also good.

Maybe talk to the Mods and have that as a sticky?

We post more pics here than anywhere else. and it's a constant question.... how do I do it?

Patience Boom these things take time.;)

Hmm. A floor on top of a floor...I've seen that before myself.

Do lots of reading here and you'll get a lot of good info.
Have fun with it. It's way cool when you float it again.

Re: anyone interested?

Bob just posted how to load pic over on the "non boating tech topics" forum, and they pinned it.

We need pics, we are addicted to pics. 8)
