Anyone know much about the Merc. 125 O/B Saltwater series

TROPHY:<br /><br />As far as I remember the only difference was some of the materials used (Less corrosive). Maybe a different gear ratio but I think that is all.<br /><br />Please correct me if I am wrong.<br /><br />Craig

Anyone know much about the Merc. 125 O/B Saltwater series

Im buying a used boat w/a 99'mercury 125 salt water series. I dont know much about outboards,but what is the difference between a classic 125 to the saltwater 125. <br />The engine was used on freshwater lakes, and still will be.
