Anyone know much about these ladders....

Iboats only carries the shorter version of this ladder and not this one. This is the EXACT ladder I need for my boat! I originally asked about the small platform style (see "Swim platform Dimensions" post) but I found this one this morning and it's the exact one I need! Only problem is I didn't want to spend the $200 this one costs.

Anyway, this is the one I need.

but this one is an option too (and only cost $85). My only hold back on this one is that the top 2 mounting points will have to be on a slight angle (probably a 20 to 30* angle). can this one be adapted to mount on an angle you think??? The top 2 mounting points in the picture look like it will have to be level. Any thoughts?

look around and see if you can find a bracket to change out for the fixed bracket. all you would have to do, is drill a hole thru the tubing to mount.

Makes sense.

Also, I did find the first ladder on Iboats. My mistake. But it's still $195

I think I'm going to go with t-daddy's thinking. Shouldn't be too hard to come up with something.

Just had a thought.... what if I got 1" stainless bimini outside eye pieces and put them on the ends of those mounting points on the 2nd ladder and then just use deck hinges for mounting them. Wonder if that would work and if it would support a persons weight.

Well I bought the second one last night. I think I can get it to work. I would have bought it on iboats but i found them for about $5 cheaper, new, on ebay, then ebay has a 10% discount going right now so in all, it was about $15 bucks cheaper. Thanks for the help everyone!
