Anyone know of any used fishing/boating classifieds that do Internet or local sales? Kinda like CL for fisherman?

Most fishing message boards have a For Sale section with stuff like that, but finding someone close by with something you want is like a needle in a hay stack... but most are willing to ship.

Don't know if you have it down where you are but up here we have kijji. The website is below! You can search by location and subject. You can also do a search by keyword.

CL boats for sale, just add a keyword such as "trolling" or "fish finder" If you get too many then limit the search to titles only.

... and check things similar headings for CL too. For example: fish finder might be under "Boats for Sale," but might also be under "Electronics for Sale."

do you have a Craigslist.org listing in your area? I was able to buy my outdrive from a guy who does boat salvage and once I had his card it was like having a number for boat junkyard. Try logging onto Craigslist > Cities and search for boat parts in your area. Once you log on you pick your state and then there is a boating category. Ads are free and run for two weeks at a time.

There are many.
Lots of them have a classified page.

Up here there is Lake-Link that is a fishing website, covers Ill, Indy, Iowa, Mich, Mn, Dakotas and Wis.

Up here in MI we have a site - MLive.com. It is a site that is tied the the newspapers and has adv. much like the the old newspaper classified. Has a few things listed and works over the whole state, but still not as effective or as active as CL
