Anyone know the name for this type canvas

This is the original convertible to my old 67' MFG, the fabric is like canvas on the underside and vinyl on the top, it's heavy duty with snap in windows and rear but dryrotted so I'm using it for a pattern to make a new one, I don't know what this fabric is called to internet shop for it.

Thanks for the link and yes it's just like what you see on a automobile convertable top, I get no hits on marine canvas other than sunbrella, shark skin, and everything in between, i'll start searching automobile fabrics for convertible tops, I realy liked this top and no matter how long or hard it rained nothing came through, unlike my other boat top that needs to be sealed every year or the rain will penetrate it.

i remember seeing a little tag on my top said taylormade,maybe contact them they could tell you what it is.
on a related note,i would like to find a pattern for the side curtins mine has zippers to hold it to the top.

Thanks, here's a fairly decent picture of the cover, I did a dumb thing way back in the 80's and washed the cover in a comercial washing machine, it came out great, but then made the mistake of putting it in the dryer and it shrunk, ever since then it didn't quite fit right, you can see in the photo how I've adjusted the frame way down to compensate, it's 44 yrs old.

Ken, the side curatins look simple, they zip to the top and then snap to the gunwhales and also along the windshield frame. I already have a lead on the plastic fabric.

i think i read some where if you spritz the under side of the top, (not soaking wet !) and put it on the boat while still wet, to dry it may strech back out.

I dont think mine has shrunk up that bad ,if summer ever get here would you want to measure mine for size to redo yours?
mine has a zipper in the middle to get in to the open bow but should be the same size?

if you look close at the avatar my top rolls up in a boot , then lays across the back.
qusetion: would you want to use it fpr a pattern ?
