Are you aware that's a fiberglass boat?

If its under 30 years old, I forget what year they started, but there should be a HIN number in the starboard (right) side, upper corner of the transom. The last two numbers should be the year.

Why yes I am. Are you telling me this just so I know, or because you aren't partial to fiberglass boats?

Not makin' trouble or anything. Just that 95% of the Starcraft "gurus" on here have tinnies so I thought maybe that's what you were referring to and perhaps thought that's what this is. We're not so good at identifying the glassers. And no, fiberglass wouldn't be my first material choice for this style hull :)

Gotcha. Well thanks for your advice. :D Maybe Id better skip on this one. I have a 14' flatbottom aluminum with a 9.9 that I was going to trade (simply because I want weight capacity to allow for an onboard livewell. I guess Id better just keep my boat and save up and buy a bigger one that can allow for a livewell. Seems pretty silly to get rid of a good aluminum boat for a 'glasser ay?
