Anyone know what year this motor is?

Please if someone knows what year this motor is it would be helpful.The seller says 1995, but I know it is probably mid to late 80's Maybe someone will know by the decals? the motor is far from me and I guess I could get the model and serial number from the seller but I was trying here first. Anyway, looks like a side shifter model. Maybe someone knows. Thanks

I think you are exactly right, mid to late 80s.

Please don't buy it if you don't know what it is. Get the model number.

It has to be at least a 1987 because of the thermostat on the top of the head & it can not be later than a 1992 when they went to a totally different design.
