My seastar steering hose started leaking. I emailed seastar and they think it looks like a “regular” hose. It’s only about 5 feet long and they connect to other hoses that run to the steering wheel. I’ll post pictures.

From the looks of it (fittings) the five foot length was used as an extension.

I would measure the distance from steering connection to the actuator and buy new hoses of the correct length

I agree with dingbat. The connections midway along the lines are just an unnecessary failure point so it's better to just get a set of hoses the correct length to eliminate the intermediate connections between the hoses and the extensions. In terms of what series of hose to order, it would be helpful to know what steering system you have and what the application is. Seastar uses smaller 1/4" id 1000 psi hoses on the lower horsepoer Baystar systems and higher pressure larger i.d. hoses on the heavier duty Seastar systems. For example, the HO51XX hoses are 5/16" i.d. and 1500 psi.
