We plan to retire to a ~100' open-water capable boat. Our desire is to stay wherever the weather happens to be best, as long as it's nice or until we want to 'move'. Traveling and seeing as much of the world as we can. We are on our third cabin cruiser now (33' Carver Mariner) and learning the ins and outs of the 'lifestyle'. We will keep a home here and just rent it out (income and "roots") but will likely sell everything we can't put on the boat otherwise. It's ambitious and maybe even a little crazy, but it's our dream!
