No, but thanks for bringing that to my attention!<br />I've never understood why hardware manufacturers feel the need to keep their internal workings proprietary; perhaps now they'll see the light.

I agree totally. I think it's great, take a 39.00 router, re-flash the firmware, and viola, you have a VPN router...and more.

Since you are on the subject, what do you think of the Netgear FWAG114 wireless router or the Netgear WAG302 wireless access point? I have a Netgear FR114P (router/firewall/print server) that we’ve been using for years with no problems. A printer server function is necessary unless I can figure out how to get a Xerox Workcentre PE 120 to network.<br /><br />Thought maybe add the WAG302 to enable wireless access, or replace the FR114P with the FWAG114 but that would leave us without a print server. Possible other options to make a printer networkable?

I take it that you'll be wanting or needing a VPN solution, along with the wireless and a print server. I'd look at the specs and be sure the router has WPA (not just WEP). As for the print server, there are options too. A simple, single port print server can be added cheaply. <br />I looked at the Xerox Workcentre PE 120 but didn't see an option to 'add' network connectivity. Their PE 120i is networkable, but hardly worth replacing just to get on the network. The add-on print server is the best option for your PE 120 if you go with a wireless router without printer functions.
