Re: Anyone Run their Yamaha 250 OX66 on Muffs?
I have a 2001 150. I run mine on occasion, just a short period of time. I always run it on the flush for a minute or two first, then quickly screw the flush back on and into the muffs. Mine has overheated on the muffs before and I was given the tip from Rodbolt to check and clean the poppit valve. Actually, that thing has been redisgned. You should do a search. It's an easy/cheap job. All of that said, it just does not seem to like the muffs, so it's only once or twice a season I fire it up on them.
