I am gonig to be trailering my personal boat and trailer into Canada in about a week and was wondering if there is any special documentation I needed. I have a current reg. number, current PA tag, title to both the trailer and boat, and a current reg for the trailer. Is there anything else I need, I dont want to find out the hard way at the border. I also have a current boaters safety course cert. Thanks for your help.

The Canadians didn't care about seeing any boat papers in '05. But from what I understand about current requirements, you'll need a US Passport to get back in to the States.

Soemtimes they require that you fill out a form that documents ownership and make you present it (and the boat) upon leaving the country. They want to know if you "accidently" sell it during your vacation. Customs seems tougher on the southern versus the northern borders.
