Anyone use Mertons?

I was ready to fax my US Composits order yesterday when I found Mertons. They have a deal where you get 5 1 gallon cans of laminating resin for $130 and that gets around the $27 Hazmat fee. They are closer to me also so it has the potential to be much cheaper than US Composits.. Anyone use them? They are a bit higher on cloth, CSM and biax, so I will still need to make a US Composits order

Resin is pretty much Resin. It comes from about 3-4 Mfgs across the U.S. As long as it hasn't been setting on the shelf for a year it should be good to go. If that cost includes the MEKP needed then I'd say you got yourself a pretty good deal. The CCP poly that Mertons carrys is really good stuff.

I'm gunna put them in my "Google Catalog" for East Coast Distributors. Thanks for Letting us Know about them.

Cost does include 2oz per gallon, so it seems like a really good deal. I'll put in an order when I get a chance.

The wood is stacked up on saw horses and ready to be used. I have a few more planks to add to the cradle and I can get in the boat to take the measurements/ measurement pics and then start work on it.

It makes it a lot easier for everyone to follow along if you keep all of your posts in the same thread regarding your project. That way everyone, newb's included, that open the thread can see everything that you have been doing from start to finish. Forum guidelines recommends that you do this.

Just sent out an Email to them. so we'll see.. It says on the catalog page that the prices on the web page are current, but the copyright for the site only goes to 2011. I think it's a small town operation with only a few people running it, so it does not surprise me that it's out of date..

I was considering asking this question in my resto thread but figured it did not really belong to it, but perhaps I should have..
