As of right now due to marcq's boat (which I fell in love with) I am leaning towards kiwigrip. But, I have always liked the rubber feel to walk on, was wondering if anyone had tried rubber based pool paint for their decks? It says it is good for fresh and salt water pools. If it can sit under water for years Im assuming it can be used on a boat deck.

Only downside I see is it says used on concrete or gunnite. So Im not sure if it would adhere well to fiberglassed wood.

Yeah it's meant to go over a plaster pool and by saltwater they mean saltwater pool which is not as salty as the ocean. But that doesn't mean it won't work but I'm not sure how it would be out of the water. Oh it's also not rubbery to the feel.

I think I would stick with one of the softer products designed for this exact purpose, they work very well.

Try it and let us know how it works. It might just be the next big thing in boat restoration.
