Hello all,
I purchased a CDI coil kit #174-6120K1 for use on a Mercury 9.8 Hp S/N A178791. It came with no instructions nor has CDI been able to provide any. Does anyone know if I am to use the existing coil retaining clips to hold the coils in place and what the setback from the outer face of the laminations should be? The coils supplied are not as thick as the originals so I need to know if there is any setback.
