Re: anything i should add in the tank?
fishingman....not sure where you're located but if you have E10 in your tank, Stabil aint gonna cut it, you need to put something in to treat the Ethanol, either Star Tron or Stabil Marine Formula. Ethanol will separate out if not treated, and I would advise double treating.
70 gallons isn't that much fuel, so you should be able to treat it fairly easily. A bottle of Star Tron will treat a couple hundred gallons. The best way to treat Ethanol (E10) is to double treat and keep you tank full.
I dump a whole big bottle of Star Tron (they sell two sizes) I use the whole big bottle in my 250 gallon tank and keep it full for the winter.
I've posted this time and time again, Ethanol is not the same fuel you've been used to your whole life, you NEED to treat it the right way or you will have major problems. The ONLY way to treat Ethanol is to keep the tank full and double treat the fuel with a stabilzer made for Ethanol fuels, ie. Star Tron or Stabil Marine Formula.
I have also had manufacturers tell me that they suggest using a higher octane fuel in the Spring once you've run some fuel out, ie. if you have a tank of 87, after you run a bit out, fill it with 93, as Ethanol loses Octane while sitting and you may end up running you engine on 85 after a while of sitting, if you had a tank full of 87.
