I have smoked my whole adult life and still have quite a good sense of smell.

When you can smell a rutting elk at over 100 yards, you kind of figure your smeller is working alright!

And those who wear after shafe, and perfum stink like askunk which is one reason I smoke, so I don't sneeze 20 times everytime I come in contact with these smells.

Hmm from paint to sense of smell. $50/gallon is spot on. That's what I pay per gallon to paint my personal home, and that's what I pay to paint the rentals I own.

Would you be surprised if I told you per sq/ft it's actually cheaper to paint my home, then it is your apartment? Landlords have to pay painting services to complete this work so the cost is actually more since I pay myself to paint my own residence and don't need to pay a painter an hourly rate.

I might be prepared for a bill a bit higher than that, for the paint + the hourly rate of a painter.

There is a benefit to owning a home, and benefits to renting but that discussion is for a different day. When I have 2 messy kids, I am going to sell my personal home and rent.

Well I am sitting here as I type this, enjoying the smells of the Ribeyes on the grill, so I know for a fact I have a good sense of smell!



Although, I know the sense of smell can be a blessing or a curse, I learned that last May, when the septic system plugged up!
