apollo propeller small problem

Got me Apollo propeller, it come with hub kit. by the way it have a nice highly chrome polish...but I noticed that the at bottom of the propeller is little too long about 1/8 it touches housing when you torque it. I think, if i file the bottom of it will be ok. i just wonder if any one had this problem before.. for some reason on 1991 2050 Capri.

If the prop touches the gearcase then you may have the wrong thrust washer. The prop should not touch at all, it'll be close but not touching. When you run the boat the prop obviously tries to move forward towards the case. If it's touching now it'll dig in a bit more under power. Double check your thrust washer, you may need one slightly thicker.

Ty Vm, I guess the kit had the wrong washer.. where i can buy this washer at?

It came with propeller when bought it from Iboats the kit was included.
