I recently posted about a problem I had applying Gluvit, I put it on too thick. Well, I sanded the high spots and sags out with 40 grit, cleaned the hull and put another coat on. This time however, instead of brushing and tipping, I rolled it with a short nap foam roller and "tipped" horizontally using a foam brush. I checked it this morning and it looks great! A few overlap streaks but overall it turned out very nice. <br /> Gluvit is awesome stuff, but also expensive. I had to use 2 gallons instead of 1, so I hope this helps someone else from making the same mistake. O.K.............. time to paint!

Re: Applying Gluvit Properly

Gluvit is for where ever you want to put it.. Inside, outside, topside... It's an excellent barrier coat over gelcoat for boats that are bottom painted and left in the water...
