Aq 151b shop manual work for aq151a

Are there major differences? Manual was made in 1986. My motor is a 1986 dont understand why the manual only covers aq151 b and not a.

Turns out the manual is only 4 pages thought it was bigger. And the shop technicians manual is only for 151b. So convenient.

I finally cracked my dip stick with a heavy duty jet impact driver from my biker uncle. The one I bought was trash. Theres gear oil in my leg. Fresh gear oil. Manual says same as engine. 10/30 or 40. I wonder if gear oil will harm it or if volvo just recommended engine oil because it was easy and cheaper and gear oil is actually better for it

I don't think there is such thing as a specific drive manual. The technician manuals are motor / leg manuals.

marine gear oil is fine. SAE 30 is fine if you have a SP.

and yes, there is a specific drive manual. its about 200 pages.

marine gear oil is fine. SAE 30 is fine if you have a SP.

and yes, there is a specific drive manual. its about 200 pages.
