Ok so in chasing down a previous problem, i have created another one lol go figure. AQ125 w/270 people this is for you. When cleaning all connectors in a previous problem i forgot to hook one back up....i know i know dumbass. It is for the outdrive. It is the BLUE wire in the pic, i think it is supposed to go to the starter on the com wire from the mbss. the black goes to ground. These wires go up to the relay box for the drive tilt motor. And yes it worked before i started mucking around in there so i know the switch is good just cant for the life of me remember. If someone can chime in or advise me hat would be great. I dont wanna try things and fry the motor so i am asking for help

The tilt only AQ drives had two feeds. If the black wire that you know goes to ground is coming out of the same grey sheath as the blue wire. The blue wire goes to Batt + feed to starter.

It looks like you have a four wire motor without circuit protection, may not be a bad idea to add some sort of breaker.

Re: AQ125A OWNERS, i need your help

On my boat with two wire motor, I have 3 connectors.
1 to the motor
2 to the switch and indicator light at helm
3 to the battery and ground

My connector #3 had an original fuse holder which corroded away in a RED lead, black wire to ground.
I'd splice in a 30 amp fuse holder if I was you...

I don't have an exposed blue wire in the bilge area, just the red positive going to the breaker with a in-line fuse and a black negative going to the common ground next to the starter.

There are three leads going into the box.
1st is brown and black going to electric motor
2nd is + and - (red and black) mentioned above
3rd goes to the big electrical plug going towards the helm.

Does this help?
