Here's the low down, just doing the spring commissioning on my motor and have done a full tune up. New points set at 0.016, Dwell is at 62 deg, timing is at 10 btdc. This thing runs like a bag of hammers, and im not quite sure why. When it does stay running and i try to give a bit of throttle i can hear air being sucked in thru, im guessing, the carb. Now not really knowing carb'd setups very well, is it possible that the throttle linkage needs to be adjusted, or is it the idle screw in the carb etc etc etc. Also not sure if it makes a difference and could be a contributing factor or not but while running the coil is pretty hot to the touch. Any ideas on how to pursue? It runs fine on cold start up
PS I should add that it does this after a hot soak, meaning once it warms up to 180*.
