That was the plan, but the 531 head is now officially offline as far as valve support goes so will be looking at aftermarket. Aside from fitting them my knowledge of valves is not what it should be so probably chat with the engineers.

It seems to be a pretty popular head for car owners though so worst case I will sell it, but all being well I will be able to sort a recovery

It was an ever so slightly bent valve, so head will be sorted and I am on the hunt for a valve that doesnt cost megabucks! Looked it up earlier and the cheapest I can find is over ?75 for exhaust and ?50 for inlet!!

I have never heard of a simple valve costing this much, makes me wish I had a vw lump in there
