I have been working on this motor for a few years now and I am close but still short. I am trying to get it running smooth but cannot seam to get it. The engine is running 10 deg btc and I have done a sync with a uni-sync, but I cannot get the carbs tuned right. The back carb will noticeably make the rmp's increase and stumble with the air/fuel mixture screw, but when I am adjusting the front carb it is not noticeable. It is also very hard to start when cold and it keeps backfiring through the carbs. The engine got water in it through the carbs and it has been totally rebuild but I am now thinking the carbs are just bad. Doe anyone have any suggestions.
