This is more a VP drive question then a prop question so i thought it should go here. Is anyone running a Solas 8811 series prop (long shaft) on their 270 or 275? I just got one today and fit it on. The blades are very close to the exhaust port. Within id say 1/8 in or less. I know it wont hit but I wanted to know if there are any running problems with this setup.
By the way its a later 270 with the bolt hole so no problem there.
So this got booted to props anyway.
Is anyone running a volvo penta 270 or 275 with a solas long hub prop without issue?
