Aqua Chalet

Hello,

Was hoping someone could offer information on a pontoon boat made by Aqua Chalet, a company that went out of business several years ago. I would like to verify the model by the hull id number as well as the HP & weight capacity. The tag which is normally located at the helm station is no longer there.

I googled Aqua Chalet and found a company in new Tazewell, Tennessee. Is this the same company? If so, they are still in business.

Thank you Jeep Man,

I had read on a site www.uscgboating.org under recalls that they were no longer in business, based on what you wrote I just rechecked the site and there is an area where you can type in the 1st 3 digits of the vin # to get the manufacturer. The boat is Aqua Chalet but the first 3 digits "LRT" is listed as Leisure Craft which is also in Tennessee. I just called the number and was told by the gentleman that answered the phone that Leisure Craft made the floation and the aluminum decking and that Aqua Chalet did the finishing. He also stated he thought that Aqua Chalet is still in business but no longer makes boats.

From the website info, Aqua Chalet still make boats, but mostly houseboats. I'd still check the site and contact them.
