Hello all,
First I am a boating newbie, I had another boat for a while but never learned much about it, just learned I like the water and cruising/fishing/boating.

I just bought a 1986 or 1987 Aquasport Osprey 195 with a Mercury classic 115 running a 3 blade 13 X 19 prop, Can anyone help me with a few items:

1. what is the dry weight of my boat
2. weight of my motor
3. where can i find a boat or owners manual on my boat?
4. where can I find any information on it (Year thru boat hull #, anything related to this vessel)
5. Can you tell me if all props will fit my engine?
6. What prop do I want to have good pick up and handling

I have a ton more question, but I will hold off....
Thanks to who ever can help me with any and all of this!

You are asking specific questions in the wrong forum. Try Google for details on your boat. You want to find manfacturer's web site if possible. Part way down the main menu page of this site is a section that's blue, that lists many manufacturer's names with pages devoted to that brand's boats. Do the same to find more about your motor. There is a section on Mercury motors, full of people who own them. This site sells manuals for your motor, you definately want to buy one if you do your own work to show you how. If you don't do your own work the manual will help you not get ripped off. Prop info is vast. There are hundreds if not thousands of prop combos. Search iboats parts pages for info on props, they may have a page that explains basics, I think West Marine's site also has a page that will give you basics. If not Google props & study what comes up.

Welcome to the site. Once you learn the right questions to ask, you'll get the answers you want.
