I would like to convert a short shaft 2002 Honda 9.9 to an extra long shaft, aprox 27 inches. Would like info, as to cost & feasability

I imagine you could do it but for the price of the parts......you might be better off selling what you have and purchase a X long shaft. Your motor has a decent retained value and I think it would be more cost effective to sell and buy another.
