Are Marine Oil prices going to drop down like gasoline prices have ? ? ?

With the prices of Gasoline and Diesel fuel going down,
has anyone noticed if Auto and Marine Oil have gone down
as the price of crude oil has fallen.

Some of the Marine Oil prices are outrageously priced in my opinion.

I bought 3 one gallon jugs of
Super Teck Marine Outboard 2-cycle Engine Oil ( NMMA ) TC-W3
for $11.96 a gallon each the other day at WalMart in Va.
which is there everyday price and not on sale.

Do you think the prices will go down soon like other petroleum prices have ?

They have not gone down in my area.I did an oil change on my truck the other day and the Synthetic blend i usually use is still up over 6 bucks a quart.I know any oil products and gas treatments are still up.
I used to get Seafoam for 6 bucks a can.Its now 9.99.....

I hope so.
That deal doesn't sound so hateful.
I go through a lot of 30HD (most from Wally World), but Autozone is closer. Their house brand has doubled in price by the quart.
I'm afraid what QuickSilver is gonna be next season.
I'm afraid though, now that they know they can get it out of us, they will.
Somethings gotta give.

i think they are still selling that stuff they refined when the price was high, and have to get there money back.

They don't seem to be able to keep straight 30 weight oil on the shelves at the local wal-mart here in Jersey near me.

I bought the last 3, 5 quarts containers. Was pennsoil and a bargain at 12 bucks each.

And 5-30 cant seem to get cheap any more, go thru alot of that. Got 4, 5 quart containers of that, shell at about the same price.

Oil filters also, don't seem to be able to stock the numbers i need. So when i see the ones i need, i buy 2 or 3.

Light bulbs for autos are outrageous in my opinion, what they get for them.

Unlike companies that hiked prices during the high gas prices companies that waited it out will have to get the profit they lost during that time.

the power company here they raised our electricity due to high gas prices. do you think they are going to lower them now that gas is cheap? same with oil change places they raised thier prices due to the increase in oil and they stay at that high price and they make a killing now. It is all BS.

On Long Island, Keyspan is our power provider. They are raising our rates 7% next year even though fuel costs dropped 50% (they rely on fuel generating plants and fuel surcharges passed on to the consumers when fuel prices rise). The reason they had the *&$#@ to use is "to make up for the lack of revenue in 2008 due to public conservation efforts". We used less so now it has to cost more? Raise your hand, fellow consumers, if you feel as stupid as the utilities think you are!!!!

I saw a blurb on the news recently about BG&E's natural gas prices. They said they buy in summer when is usually low to stockpile.

our electric company, has an oil surcharge, they pass the excess to us, and also reduce it when the prices are low.

They make a killing even when gas is a dollar.

When it was close to 5 bucks what you think they made?

I wish upon the oil excs. all the suffering, they are inflicting on the poor people who will be cold this year, and every year they cause, one person to do without.

May they have toes, fingers, and other extremeties fall off, may they do without food, and meds. cause they needed to make the hard choice, heat or food.

Nuff said.
