Trying to diagnose why my #2 piston burned up again on an 85 'Rude 90hp (see: Burned up the #2 piston...again) I'm going to take the boat back to the water this evening to double check my WOT timing on each cylinder. If I get the same readings as I did when I checked the timing statically, I'd like to swap the powerpacks (starboard to port/port to starboard) to see if the problem follows or not. Are the powerpacks interchangeable or do they need to stay put where they're at?
