Are Seat Pedestals pretty standard?

Hi all. I am replacing the seats (2) on my 20ft Proline C/C. I am not sure of the manufacturer on my current seats. No sides, seat and back on a pedestal. "Common" looking if you will.

I want to buy some new Todd seats. Can I use the same pedestal or do I need new ones? The height of them seems to be perfect.

Thanks in advance.

How the seats attach to the pedestal and/or swivel is pretty standard, Scuda, but the pedestals are all over the map.

Re: Are Seat Pedestals pretty standard?

Thanks JB, thats exactly what I was looking for. I already have my pedestals bolted in of course and really just wanted to see how it would attach to the seat. Plus, removing those pedestals after I put them in with 5200 was my worst nightmare, and would prob send me searching this board for a way to remove them!

Thanks again.

I have 4 boats here with pedestal seats, every one has a different diameter, different bolt pattern and different height.
The seat flange though is pretty universal, meaning that any seat can usually go on any pedestal, but thats about it.
