are the motor mounting holes the same from evinrude to mercury?

i just recently rebuilt a 1973 hewes bonefisher and i have a 1991 90 hp evinrude ,I was thinking of putting my 115 hp mercury in line six on but would like to know if the mounting bolts line up .I would hate to drill another 4 hole in my new transom thanks

If your 115 is serial numbered 7208848 or above it's the same

thanks for the reply Laddies,No my serial # is 6478747 it's a 1984.i was wondering will 2 holes line up ,if not what would be my next step. jackplate?

Fill the old holes with dowels and epoxy and drill new holes...
