Discount-Marine said that my Wizard is a rebadged Chrysler 9.2
I replaced the impeller although it was still pliable but the new impeller had half as many fins as the old one Like 6 to 12. It was a tight fit and I had to bend he fins slightly to make it fit, I assume this is not a problem.
How do I know if the water pump is working properly?
The water level in the barrel is about 2" above the cavitation plate, it appears the water pick up is below the cavitation plate.
It sounds like exhaust exits just above the prop, so what is the hole about 3/4" in diameter located about 12" above the exhaust? While running it in a barrel, I had some mist but no water coming out of the hole.
I rebuild the carb and noticed the roller that advances the timing plate is about 3/16" away from the plate and the locating mark. Should this be touching with the carb butterfly when closed?
When I set the power adjustment, does it have to be under load or can it be in neutral?
I rebuilt the fuel pump, the diaphram was shot.
The spark on one plug is not as hot as the other using a spark gap tool, they did jump about 3/8". Is this acceptable?
Thanks, SV
