The 235 HP models had a bigger bore and different heads.----Heads all look to be the same.----What is wrong with the head you have ?---Your location.
The Heads Combustion chamber is different. The Head on the left the replacement head I got 0322457. It has a lot smaller combustion chamber which will increase the compression ratio. The head on the right is the original head 0325556. The problem with the original head is I messed it up.
I was removing the cylinder head cover which has about 22 bolts, 20 snapped off. I drilled out and installed heli-coils. Well that worked out great however I think I drilled into the water passages and now got water leaking out of the bolts even when I put sealant on the threads. So the head is ruined. This new head I got off of Ebay said it would work. But when I got it in I saw that the combustion chamber was a lot smaller. I did put the new head on without the gasket to test and the piston does not hit. I just wanted to see if there is a cross reference out there that says that a 0325556 head is compatible with a 0322457. I think it would work but want to make sure. I would just have to use Higher Octane gas and maybe retard the spark a little.
