Are these motor's compatable?

Are parts from these motors compatable? What, if any parts are interchangable?

Model # 25R73A
Serial # E3789899

and

Model # FD-20C
Serial #12645589

I am purchasing the top one today which is a 25 Johnson. The bottom one I already own and is in-operable due to physcial damage, but it does have good parts on it, its a 20 Johnson.

25 is a '73,

20 is a '66.

Magneto's are definitely different as the 20 has coils/points under flywheel, and the 25 has points under/coils external.

Lower unit's may swap over.. more folks will chime in with total expertise!

What exactly do you need for the 20hp from the 25??

Nothing that I know of right now because I have yet to pick up the 25 horse. For future reference just in case a bolt is needed or something else that.
