Are trim tabs for me?

I have no problems getting on plane, or controlling my speed.

My main concern is stability in rougher water. It seems certain waves, my boat can handle no problem, and other waves cause the boat's bow to start bouncing.

A friend suggested I try installing trim tabs (with shock absorbers, not the ones that you can control)

Do these help make the boat more stable? are there any dis-advantages to them?

Anyone have experience installing them on a similar sized boat? I believe my boat weighs about 2700 lbs or so. (single axle trailer)

The Smart Tabs SX models are a very cost efficient way to improve overall performance or your boat.

If you search this forum for those keywords you'll find tons of happy customers.

Again,

Not looking to increase performance, more looking to increase stability.

Stability is one of the many components that contribute to the performance for your boat.
