Arkansas River Boating?

Hey guys, im thinking about taking my 19.5 bowrider out on the arkansas river tomorrow.. Im going to launch at the Toadsuck Ferry Lock and Dam...

Any tips? I used to see tons of boaters.. but in the last year or so I havent seen many... not that I have really looked..

well, if anyone is interested.. I skipped over toadsuck park and went to cadron park about 2 miles up river... (it was free and wider)

the river was like glass out ... perfect... went about 15-16 miles up river and came back. at a cruising speed of 30 took about 2 hours. great scenery.
