I have seen the infomercial on The Little Giant Ladder, it seems to be a very impressive package, i am in the market for a new ladder.

Does anyone here own a Little Giant Ladder?

Are you satisfied with its functionality?

and does its quality and finish justify its steep selling price?

I too, was hooked by the infomercial but did not want to spend $$$$$$ so I bought the COSCO emulation for $149. I love it!!!! it is identical in function as the Little Giant. I hate shaky ladders but this thing is unbelievably sturdy.

I have stolen my FILs Little Giant several times. Nice, works well, sturdy, pretty much what the infomercial says it is.

I have one that was given to me. Sorta heavy but works great. Lowes has one for 1/2 the price.

home inspector had one, said it was the last ladder he will ever buy. he used it all over the outside of my house, getting to the roof, etc. then folded it right up and took it inside to use. he was a real pro, throwing and bending the thing like they do in the commercial. i was sold and plan on getting one.

I got a one piece that bends simularily (diffrent brand) and my only complaint is the hing points are just a little toufgh to operate. Would I buy the same ladder with a better hinge...Abosolutly, without hesitation.

Many companies make the same thing. I have one made by Warner(spelling?) that costs half the price. This type of ladder is a must for anyone who does work around the house. I have seen the Little Giant and it is a very well made ladder, it does not seem higher quality in any way. Be aware that they are kind of heavy...

My old Fire Department got one to carry on our rescue truck for use at car wrecks etc. it worked great and is built to last. A buddy of mine has the Werner model and it works ok but not built as heavy.

Got the werner brand from Lowes I think.
A little light duty esp if fully extended but I never use it that way.
Makes a nice scaffold for home work.

Re: As seen on TV

I have the COSCO 17’, called the “Worlds greatest little ladder”. It is identical to the LG. right down to weight and dimensions. The only difference is the hinge is made of stamped steel and the LG uses billet aluminum, a bargain at $149 at Lowes. I like it better than the Werner. LG’s patent rights have expired, so any manufacture can duplicate their ladder.
