Ask before i cut question

Hello,

I am wanting to install 2 more speakers in my boat. they are 4" speakers.. Putting the where i want them would require cutting 3-5/8" holes in the fiberglass seat supports. Would this be OK.?

I just don't want to hurt the structure of my boat. I think it will be OK but wanted to hear your opinions

i wouldn't worry about it... if your concerned though just add some wooden supports on the inside

I think you're fine. I would, however, make sure you seal any exposed wood with paint or varnish.
