Asking for help - Starting Evinrude 65 hp electric shift

Double check the fuse holder itself. Now at the solenoid you will need to check voltages, you will need a meter. On the solenoid are 2 small posts one Check those for power with the key turned to start. Hook one end of the meter to a ground source and touch the positive to one of the small terminals. do this one at a time at a time you should have over 12 volts at both of them with the key on the start position.

We have tried everything as listed above and still have no function. When testing the voltage to the solenoid we have no power to the solenoid from the ignition key to the terminals.

The 72 model 65 HP also has a safety switch on the MOTOR near the throttle arm.-----Purpose is to prevent cranking with too much throttle applied.-----Has but 1 ( one ) white wire going to it.---------Find it / adjust it / take it apart to clean the contacts if need be.
