Has anyone heard anything about the DNR reintroducing/augmenting the
Atlantic Sturgion along the east coast?

Thanks - I grew up fishing the Potomac, it is good that they are trying to replenish these indiginous monsters - there are so many invasive species. My brother read an article from around the turn of the century wherein a soilder was killed by a breeching sturgion on the potomac. When do you think we will have to worry about that - I hear it is a concern out west?

We have a small population here off of Cape Ann. Every now and then a boat dragging for cod or haddock would catch one in the net.
