Attaching floor to molded stringers

My boat has molded fiberglass stringers that are filled with foam. What I'm trying to figure out is the best way to attach the floor to them? When I removed the floor, it appeared it was basically "glued" to them with resin. Some areas stuck better than others.
I am thinking maybe just take some "peanut butter" spread across the stringers and laying the glassed wood on that. Would that work or is there a better solution?

I'm attaching a pic with the first piece of floor decking laid in place.

With that much area on the surface of the stringers, PB would probably be sufficient.

My boat also has fiberglass stringers, and from the factory, the deck was installed with PB and long staples. When I replaced it, I used PB and stainless steel screws.

Thanks for the replies. I just want to verify that PB is "peanut butter"?

Correct, that is the iBoats shorthand for thickened resin. When done with polyester resin, it normally includes catalyzed resin, Cabosil (fumed silica), and milled fiberglass strands. The ideal consistency is like peanut butter.
