I came to this forum seeking help and wanting to learn as much as I can and to help me save money by learning from the people here at iboats. Some here are great assets and you should praise them for what they do for your site. But I am displeased with some of the others here that make the good apples look bad. As for this reason I want all my post deleted and my account erased.
Thank you,

Wow! Real sorry you are upset, Jall.

What, exactly, caused it?

Jall65 do not perform a Flounce! I am not a Mod nor Admin .... just a fellow boater like yourself. Stick around things here do tend to rollercoaster but they always work out.

Flounce is a term used on Internet chat forums to describe a type of post. Typically a flounce is where a user feels that they have had enough of the forum and, rather than simply leaving quietly, decide to post a long public message detailing their reasons, usually in a new thread so as to get the maximum number of replies.

The flounce post could contain insults directed at fellow members of the forum or at its administrators, and the users' grievances with them. They can range from the calm and reasoned to the emotional and hysterical, garnering comment and concern respectively. After flouncing, the user, rather than staying away, is usually back within a few days to a few weeks, often expecting that the mood regarding them will be exactly the same as it was when they left - which of course it never is.

If you want to stop posting and have your account erased, fine. However, I don't feel anyone has the right to have all of their previous posts deleted. This would make "holes" in every thread you have ever posted in, which, IMO, is unacceptable. When you post, you contribute your post to iboats freely and they need no license from you to maintain it. Searching old threads is very beneficial. Finding holes because someone got their feelings hurt is crap. If you don't like it here - fine - just stop posting. Thats what 80,000+ other people have done...
