I have a question for you. What would happen if I put a hotter plug in my 9.5 Evin.? Also do you have a break down of the lower unit of this motor? it is a 1969 9.5 Sportwin model 9922S. Appreciate the help. Also what is that De-Carb stuff that i saw you talking about?

Nathan, I would run the J6C plugs in your motor I have these plugs in 100's of motors OMC recommends them. They (the plugs) help prevent fouling at slower sleeds ie trolling and help the motor run a lil better set the gap to .030 and they will be fine. I wouldnt go any hotter than a J6C tho..
