Re: Attorneys (class action Mercury(force) engine)
From what I'm reading, it sounds as some people have had some sort of problem with Force outboards.

Well, I'm glad they have a bad reputation. I found the used boat I had been looking for for 2 years, only 50 to 70 hours on it, galvanized trailer, and no one would buy it because of the Force on the back. Well the price went down, and down, and ...

3 months later I got the whole package for the value of the boat alone. I've had 3 years of use out of it and only had to do routine maintenance and replace an impeller.

I still love the boat, and when the Force fades away, I will repower and know that I got MORE than I paid for.

As for a law suit, I say we sue the lawyers. The are the ones that have driven up the base price of everything we buy. I shouldn't be forced to buy a truck with anti-lock breaks, multiply airbags, and all the other stuff that is now mandated into a new vehicle. But thanks to the lawyers, the manufacturers are forced to build them this way to cover their a**es.
